Animated explainers
In a class on Data, Design and Animation, I learned how to make animated explainer-style videos using Adobe After Effects. Here are a few examples of how I put that knowledge to use:

Videos on the go
Multimedia journalists today need to make great stories while still in the field. When covering the Russian-speaking community in New York, I used my iPhone to film stories about a Ukrainian folk singer and an organization that helps Holocaust survivors.
